11SIX24 Ultre Power 2 Review + PRH

The 11SIX24 Ultré Power 2 is our pick for players who want a lively paddle without turning every point into a power contest. Its square, flat-sided face gives the design a clear identity: a broad contact area with a power-oriented core underneath. A square face with a clear purpose

The Ultré has a flat top and sides rather than the familiar taper of many paddle shapes. 11SIX24 says that geometry preserves more usable surface near the corners and gives the paddle a consistent feel across the face. That is a practical idea for players who want an offensive paddle but do not want the narrow feel of a traditional elongated design.

We like the way the shape bridges reach and forgiveness. It is a natural fit for doubles players who want some leverage from the baseline and a comfortable target during quick exchanges. If you routinely strike near the outer edges, the fuller outline gives you a more appealing profile than a long, narrow face.

Power with more than one gear

11SIX24 describes the Power 2 core as responsive when you accelerate and softer when you slow down. That gives the paddle a useful all-court goal: reward a drive or counter while remaining manageable when the point turns into a dink or reset. Our shared paddle notes support that role; this is a power pick with enough control to keep it in mixed doubles conversations.

The HexGrit surface is intended to add ball bite for spin. Treat the brand’s durability language as a design claim rather than a promise of a fixed lifespan. Surface wear depends on play, balls, and care, so keep the paddle clean according to the manufacturer’s instructions and reassess it as it ages.

That mix makes the Power 2 easier to recommend as a daily paddle than a one-purpose banger. It has a recognizable offensive personality, but the broad face and softer response at lower pace give you room to vary the point. Players who already generate their own speed can use that balance to attack selectively instead of swinging hard on every ball.

Who should choose it

Choose the Ultré Power 2 if you want a more assertive response, like a square hitting face, and still need to soften the next shot. It suits players who create their own pace and want the paddle to help them attack without making every block feel unpredictable.

If touch and a quieter response are your priorities, compare it with the 11SIX24 Ultre Jelly Bean 2 review. If you want a longer face for reach and leverage, an elongated model is a better match. Our best pickleball paddles guide explains how those shape tradeoffs affect the choice.
