11SIX24 Pegasus Power 2 Review

The 11SIX24 Pegasus Power 2 is the widebody choice in the Power 2 family, and we like it most for doubles players who want a generous face and quick hands. In partner play, the broad shape was easier to square on blocks and counters than the longer siblings, while the HexGrit surface kept rolls and controlled drives spin-friendly. A widebody that stays lively

The Pegasus has a clear advantage in kitchen exchanges: it gives you a larger target when a fast ball arrives before you are fully set. The widebody outline is also comfortable for players who want to redirect pace or cover the middle in doubles. It feels like the easiest Power 2 shape to bring into position, especially if you do not want a long paddle moving through every volley.

That forgiving outline does not make the Pegasus dull. The Power 2 core still responds when you accelerate, and the HexGrit face gives a brushing swing a spin-forward feel. We liked it for counters, rolls, and compact drives that use placement instead of a full baseline swing. It can finish a point when the ball sits up, but its strongest identity is control of the exchange rather than maximum reach.

The trade is leverage, not usefulness

Compared with the Vapor and Hurache-X, the Pegasus gives up length and leverage. That is a sensible exchange for many doubles players, but a player who serves aggressively from the baseline or likes a two-handed backhand may prefer a longer shape. The face also has an energetic side, so keep the grip relaxed on dinks and resets. A broad face can help you make contact; it cannot soften every ball for you.

Independent play coverage highlights the same practical fit: the Pegasus is easier to use when you want pop and shape in a compact exchange, while its wide outline is less suited to a reach-first game. That lines up with our own partner sessions. We would not choose it for the player whose whole strategy revolves around deep drives and extended leverage.

Which Power 2 shape should you choose?

Pick the Pegasus if doubles coverage, easy preparation, and a forgiving target matter most. The Vapor Power 2 is the balanced hybrid if you want a little more reach without moving into an elongated paddle. The Hurache-X Power 2 is the reach-first pick for attacking players who like a longer handle.

Our verdict

The Pegasus Power 2 is the Power 2 we would recommend first to a doubles player who values fast hands and a generous face. It remains spin-friendly and lively, but its shape prioritizes easy contact over maximum reach or drive leverage. If that matches your game, PRH gives you a clear current offer to check through the 11SIX24 tracked route.
