The 11SIX24 Vapor Power 2 is the balanced hybrid in the Power 2 family. In our partner sessions, its quick handling and spin-friendly face stood out more than raw drive power. It can attack when you accelerate, but the shape stays comfortable through doubles exchanges and transition play. Why the Vapor is the easy starting point
The Vapor’s hybrid outline gives you a useful middle ground: more reach than a compact widebody, with a broader, easier target than an elongated paddle. That makes the fit straightforward for an all-court player who does not want to commit to a single specialty. It can cover serves, baseline drives, blocks, and kitchen exchanges without feeling like the shape is dictating every shot.
11SIX24 pairs the Power 2 construction with its HexGrit face. In our sessions, the surface gave rolls and brushed drives a confident feel, and the paddle was quick enough to bring into a hands battle. The responsive core has an attacking side when you load up, yet the Vapor did not feel like a one-note banger. Short, calm contact made the soft game easier to manage.
What it feels like in real play
We see the Vapor as a strong daily paddle for someone who likes an energetic face but still wants to shape the point. Drives carry useful pace, and the hybrid shape lets you prepare for a counter without the long, narrow feeling of a full elongated model. The face gives you a clear reason to brush the ball on serves, rolls, and dipping drives.
That same liveliness is the main adjustment. If your grip tightens or you use a long push on a reset, the ball can leave faster than you intended. Players who want the paddle to absorb more of the incoming pace may prefer a softer control model. The Vapor rewards a player who can shorten the swing and decide when to attack.
Independent coverage also places the Vapor among the more spin-focused Power 2 options, while our own sessions point to its shape and hand speed as the everyday strengths. We would not buy it solely for a durability claim: HexGrit is the brand’s surface technology, and the actual life of any face depends on play, ball, and care. Keep it clean and judge wear over time.
Vapor, Pegasus, or Hurache-X
Pick the Vapor if you want the most balanced shape in the family. The Pegasus Power 2 is the broader doubles choice for players who value stability and easy contact. The Hurache-X Power 2 is the reach-first option for players who want leverage and a longer handle.
Our best pickleball paddles guide compares the Power 2 family with other code-backed paddles. Choose by your usual point pattern rather than assuming one shape is best for everyone.

Our verdict
The Vapor Power 2 is the Power 2 shape we would start with for an all-court player who wants spin and quick hands without choosing a widebody or an elongated specialist. It has enough pace to attack and enough shape control to stay useful across a doubles game. The soft touch asks for a calm hand, but PRH gives you a clear offer to check through the tracked 11SIX24 route.
